Memorial at Gabaudet

    This view shows the other two sides of the memorial at Gabaudet on the (unmarked) minor road off the N140 South of Gramat. It lists the names of the FFI members who were killed by Das Reich on 8th June 1944. The plaque detailing events is to the rear of view and can also be seen from the other view of this memorial. The names on the left hand white board are all described as volunteers for the FFI: René Baillot, Marcel Bordes, Roger Contesenne, Jean Cremoux, Bernard Dupui, Raymond Pierret, Lucien Planti ???? Pack, René Teisseyre, Claude Thamié Roland Vernaujou, Jean Depré and 3 unknowns. The names on the right hand white board are all described as volunteers for the FFI: Pierre Beaumont, Claude Couhot, Pierre Darnis, Fernand Forestier, ???? Galarzac, Martial Joliton, Jean-Pierre Lafon, Roger Lascombes, Jean-Henri Descole, Paul-Louis Maury.
