Outside view of the church at Oradour looking towards sacristy door
The wooden door is the external entrance to the sacristy. Through the archway and to the right, is the garden where Madame Rouffanche hid after escaping from the church through the window over the altar. Just out of view to the left is the window through which the shots must have been fired that hit the memorial tablet to the dead of World War I inside the church.
