The W.W.I memorial and the window through which shots were fired into the Chapel of St. Joseph

Memorial to W.W.I and window in church through which shots were fired into the chapel of St. Anne

The bullet holed memorial to the dead of W.W.I can be seen to the left of the window and it is through this opening into the Saint Joseph's Chapel that the shots must have been fired. The altar is out of sight to the left of view, and the confessional box to the rear of the photographer, the church entrance door is to the rear right. Whoever fired the shots from outside the church must have had to stand on something, because the window is about 6 feet off the ground on that side. See the panoramic view of the inside of the church to see the relationship of the chapel to the rest of the building.
