The minute's silence on the Champ de Foire at Oradour en-route to the cemetery
This view is just before the start of the minute's silence held on the Champ de Foire (fairground) in Oradour-sur-Glane ruins at 16:25, to mark the time of the killings on 10th June 1944. The doctor's car is just visible in the distance on the extreme right of view. There is no marching band with the procession, which proceeds in silence throughout the event.
As an example of the timing of events for the commemoration of the massacre, here is the program for the 68th anniversary, held on Sunday June 10th 2012.
