Showing church viewed at entrance to town from Limoges road
This view has been taken from near the old entrance to the ruins on the Limoges road; it is this route the SS used to enter the town. The sign at the foot of the telephone pole reads, "SILENCE", this request is made at all the entrances to the ruins. The window, through which Mme Rouffanche jumped, is the lower middle one of the group of three. Note the overhead electric tram wires, they are still intact and run up to the station round the curve in the road.
