View of church from ruined house
Looking from ruined house towards the church, the main road into town from Limoges is out of view to the left. The stone construction of the properties can be clearly seen. This house from which the picture has been taken is about the closest property to the church and as can be easily imagined it would be difficult for a fire in the former to spread to the latter.
