Denis wine store
Looking into the Denis wine store, the road to St. Junien from Oradour (the D101) is to the right of view and the Hotel Avril where the Pinède children hid, is to the rear of the photographer across the Rue Emile Desourteaux. See town plan for location details. The inscription on the plaque reads, "Here at this place of torment a group of men were massacred and burnt by Nazis. Collect your thoughts".
