Diekmann's 23 January 1943 report from Paris school for Panzer troops

Diekmann attended this short course on tank tactics in Paris whilst he was an instructor at Bad Tölz. It does not seem to have been directly connected with his transfer to Das Reich (on the Eastern Front) in September of that same year. It is interesting to compare this assessment with that for Otto Weidinger, who attended this course with Diekmann whilst he was an instructor at Brunswick (Braunschweig).
